Below is Ziegler's art class listings. Feel free to contact any of the
instructors, they will be happy to answer any questions you might have about
their classes. The staff at Ziegler's may be able to help with some questions.
You are always invited to come by and visit with the teachers and observe
classes in person.

Regular Classes:
ROSS MYERS FINE ART CLASSES Ross Myers (636-6301)
Summer Session: September 2, to December 19, 2008. No classes Sept 29-Oct 3. Choose the time below that fits your
schedule:
Tuesdays: 10am to Noon; 1:00 to 3:00pm; 3:30 to 5:30pm
Thursdays: 10am to Noon; 1:00 to 3:00pm; 3:30 to 5:30pm
Fridays: 10am to Noon.
Fee: $280.00 (15 weeks)
Study oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel, and drawing from Tulsa's most
experienced art teacher. His well rounded talents are ideal for any level of
artist. Minimum age requirement is 10 years old.
OPEN STUDIO - Mondays 9 to 4. No Fee.
No teacher, no hassles, no cost, just like minded artists painting together and
having a good time.
PORTRAITS WITH EVELYN Taught by Evelyn Petroski (445-2724) Mondays,
9:30 to 3:30 Fee $160.00/month
One of Tulsa's favorite portrait artist's. Work in oils, Acrylic, Watercolor, pastel
or graphite. The class will work mainly from photographs except that a live
model will come in the last Monday of the month. ( A modeling fee will be
required.) This class is limited to six students per session.
OIL PAINTING - Tuesdays 9 to 4. Dorothy Egan (743-7187) Fee: $12.50 per
half day.
This class is for the experienced painter looking for fresh and innovative
ideas. Dorothy has published many books and teaches seminars nationwide.
BEGINNING WATERCOLOR - Wed. 9 to 12. Ellen Shannon (744-9397)
Fee: $60.00/month plus a $20.00 binder fee.
Excellent course for true beginners. Learn all about the following: what
watercolors are, setting up your palette, transparent and opaques, values, washes, transfer drawings, white lines, salt, lost & found
techniques, negative painting, starting and stopping, and much more. The binder
you end up at the end of 3 months will be your personal watercolor instructional
manual.
WATERCOLOR / GOUACHE - Wed. 12:30 to 3:30. Ellen Shannon (744-9397) Fee:
$60.00/month.
Get creative in this class. For advanced students.
Sally's Studio- Wed. 12:30 to 3:30.
Sally Conrad (585-1744)Fee:
$15.00/lesson.
Sally teaches various media including drawing, oil, acrylic, and pastel,
catering to each students interest. Sally is a graduate from the Kansas City Art
Institute.
OIL PAINTING - Thurs. 9:15 to 11:45. Margee Aycock (583-3503) Fee:$17.00/day,
$60.00/month.
Margee is an impressionistic painter. She exhibits her work in North and South
Carolina, Tennessee, and Oklahoma galleries. She eared her art degree from the
University of Tulsa.

WATERCOLOR STUDIO - Thursdays 3:00 to 5:00. Sabine Bernard
(744-9342) Fee: $60.00/month
Sabine is a nationally published painter and illustrator. She exibits at M.A.
Doran Gallery in Tulsa. She has taught TTC evening classes for 18 years, as well
as private classes. All levels of experience are welcome and will receive
individual instruction.
WATERCOLOR & OIL PAINTING - Sat. 9:30 to 11:30 - Mary Jobe (437-0361)
Fee:$10.00/class
Mary is an accomplished painter who works in a realistic manner. She allows you
the freedom to paint any subject while she helps you acquire and perfect various
techniques.
OILS WITH GINZIE - Sat. 12:30 to 3:00 Ginzie Chancey (834-8812)
Fee: $20.00 per class.
Long time artist Ginzie is back to teach. On going class for both beginners and
advanced students. It is a pure "art" class, no tracing or patternsbut lots of
color theory and mixing. Ginzie will help you with your technical weaknesses
while allowing you to express yourself through your paintings.
