Needlework Framing

Ziegler's frames all types of needlework including counted cross stitch, crewel, latch hook and more. Our needlework framers are experts at mounting and framing this type of art so that they can be enjoyed for years to come. Other examples of unique items we also frame include silk paintings, golf towels, flags, T-shirts, christening dresses, scouting items, sports jerseys.

Shadow Boxes


Everybody loves shadow boxes. It's a wonderful way to get your special keepsakes out of the drawer and on the wall where you can enjoy them. We have framed a full gamut of items - pocket watches, swords, pistols, metals, clothing, sports items, and arrowheads just name a few. Pricing for shadow boxes vary on a number of factors: depth of the frame needed, the number of items to be mounted, and the method that each item is attached.

Custom Fabrications
    Sometimes a framing job needs a special element-  an extension to make a frame deeper, a hinged front door, or an extra sturdy backing to support a heavy object. Ziegler's framing experts can come to the rescue using our woodworking shop and know-how to fabricate what we need to accomplish your vision of the finished frame job. We have the expertise to get the job done.

Custom Canvas Stretching
    We stretch and re-stretch your painted canvases on the proper bars for display. Both standard bars and gallery wrap style are available.

Ziegler's provides the many choices needed to meet your job specifications. They're determined by your budget, the monetary or sentimental value of the item being framed, the requirements needed for the item to be properly framed, and the design selected by the customer. Our staff can help you through these issues so that your completed frame job gives you lasting enjoyment for years to come.

Custom Design Mats - We can cut most any mat, multi-openings, oval, arch, spandrel, cathedral, and many more. We hand cut mats and also utilize our computer aided mat cutter for many jobs. Use your imagination to make your frame job unique!

Drawn Lines - Gives a mat a more finished look. Popular on etchings and botanicals. Lines can be ink, colored pencil, or paint. Gold is the most popular color.

Book Paper - Book liner paper is a marbled paper available in different colors cut into thin strips and applied around the opening of a mat. Usually used with drawn lines.

Filets - Filets are small decorative wood strips placed on the inner edge of a mat, and sometimes on the inner edge of a frame. Ziegler's stocks approximately 40 styles to help give your art the special touch you are looking for.
